If you have landed on this page, then likely you have experienced the life changing experience of summer camp, whether as a camper, counselor or family member. As campers, we remember the friends and fun that is uniquely camp. But the camp experience is about so much more: it’s about developing children into independent young adults with confidence in themselves and care for others and their world. We believe this mission is more important than ever given the fast-paced, multi-tasking, and virtually connected world that youth are living in today.
Girls need a place where it is safe to be themselves, try new experiences, grow in character and yes, laugh and giggle. Camp Riva-Lake has been that place for thousands of girls over the last 100 years. Our goal is to remain timeless and relevant for the next 100 years, giving young girls a summer experience that will provide lasting friendships, new adventures and the confidence to grow into their innate potential. We are requesting your help to keep the CRL fire burning bright.
RECRUITING
The single best way you can help CRL is referring families with camp-age girls to CRL. Families want to send their children to camps where they have a connection, which engenders trust. This includes word of mouth, social media activity supporting Riva-Lake or hosting a camper get-together at your home so kids can meet up and invite new campers to CRL.
CASH & DONATIONS
Your donations enable us to continue to invest in camper programs and aging assets. This includes enhancing our Arts & Crafts programs, bringing in certified staff in their respective activities and improving assets such as KK, our docks and the Playhouse. You can even gift an excursion or a party!
SCHOLARSHIPS
As a not-for-profit we do our best to make camp affordable to as many families as we can, but the cost of summer camp is rising. CRL is committed to providing scholarship support to a limited number of campers to help them have this amazing camp experience. Your scholarship donation will enable a young girl to come to camp and learn both new activities and important life skills. No gift is too small to make a difference!
