Tales of a First Year Counselor

Being the new tennis counselor at CRL was such an amazing experience that I can hardly find the words to describe. I was placed in the legendary cabin “Heave Ho”, with wonderful co-counselor, Marguerite Coombs. Our July consisted of routine room checks, pranks and dance parties - the perfect recipe to a great summer. Every morning I would wake up extra early because I could not contain my excitement for the day that was ahead. From morning breakfast to our nightly activity, every day was full of life and laughter. Getting to watch campers transform through the love of counselors, friends and directors was truly a blessing. I am thankful to be able to come back this July and am excited for the adventures that lie ahead.
