

Tales of a First Year Counselor
Being the new tennis counselor at CRL was such an amazing experience that I can hardly find the words to describe. I was placed in the legendary cabin “Heave Ho”, with wonderful co-counselor, Marguerite Coombs. Our July consisted of routine room checks, pranks and dance parties - the perfect recipe to a great summer. Can't Wait to Be Back at CRL!
July is around the corner, and I am so excited to be coming back to Camp Riva-Lake. This will be my third stint as camp nurse; I guess I just can't stay away, and I feel so lucky to be part of such a fantastic organization. I'm counting down the days until I get to spend time with the campers, counselors and parents! I realize many of you may not have met me yet, but CRL and I go way back, to my days as a camper. Riding at Camp Riva-Lake
The weather is warming up, schools are out, and camp is just around the corner! I'm so excited for another summer full of laughter and horses at Camp Riva-Lake. I can't wait for another chance to share my love of horses with the campers, to see their faces alight with joy, and to hear the excitement in their voices as they spend time them.
